As many of you will know I am waiting the arrival of my own little squishy bundle sometime in the next 4 weeks. In amongst tidying up the accounts for the tax man and eating lots of cake, I have been getting ready for a local baby show next weekend (place your bets on whether I go into labour that day!) I thought I would share some of the pages from my latest portfolio with you.I will be on the hunt for specific models for my new portfolio ideas in the autumn so keep your eyes on the Facebook page for casting calls.

It is very odd to think the next little one I photograph will most likely be my own!

This morning I had such a fun time with the very gorgeous Arabella! She loved the cake and did a really good job at smashing it too!

And I love the “ooops I seem to have cake on my tutu!” picture too! Such a fun morning and a gorgeous and happy little Birthday Girl.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting the very gorgeous and sleepy Baby Alexander for his newborn portrait session, here is a little sneaky peek of one of his images for Mummy and Daddy x

COMPETITION TWO

Well…. no one guessed correctly that I had photographed 108 lovely little babies under 1 in 2012. So I decided to put all the names into the draw. Entrants were allocated a number based on the order they posted their guess on the blog, from 1-37. I then used random.org to generate a number…

So it’s New Year’s Eve,  (or old years night as my grandparents would call it), a time to reflect back over the past year, remember those resolutions you made, (and probably broke back in February!), make some new ones, with the best of intentions of course, and look forward to the next 12 months ahead.

It has been a busy year at Pennycress with more sessions than ever and of course the move to the new studio too. There was the Big Pennycress Picnic, over 70 professional photographers who attended training with myself and now my own little one cooking inside, due in April.

So at this time of reflection and anticipation I thought I would run not one, but TWO competitions and give away some goodies! Of course there are a couple of things I need you to do in order to participate but they should only take a couple of minutes of your time so GOOD LUCK!!
