I’m Vicki, and Pennycress Photography is my baby!
The name Pennycress comes from a local road name, my name isnt Penny but I get called it so often now that I think I would answer to it if someone shouted it in the street! I am the owner and photographer at Pennycress and have a great team to support me behind the scenes.
So what makes myself and Pennycress different to all the other photographers out there?
Well, quite simply I specialise in maternity, newborn and baby photography. In 2009 I chose to specialise in the area that I truly adore, and let’s be honest who wouldn’t want to work with gorgeous squishy newborn babies every week. I also aim to provide a relaxed, bespoke experience at our new luxury premises. A whole day is allocated for your newborn session and everything is baby led, nothing is rushed and safety and comfort of your little one is never compromised.
I am one of the leading newborn photographers in the UK, and have completed over 300 newborn sessions. My work has been featured in many publications and since 2011 have been training professional photographers from all over the world in the art of posing newborn babies in a safe and calm manner.
I am a member of and sit on the panel for the British Association of Newborn Photographers (BANP),promoting safe practice and professional standards in newborn photography here in the UK.
I am fully insured, I have a full enhanced CRB and I have completed my 12 hour paediatic first aid course.
